Light dismantling joint provide easy installation and disassembly of flanged pipework and fittings, or flanged equipment such as valves, meters and pumps.
More specifically, Dismantling Joints comprise a tubular coupling member with a hub angularly integral with the drive shaft; and a ring positioned radially outwards of the hub and angularly integral with the driven shaft.
More specifically, the joints may comprise a single coupling member, with the hub and ring connected directly to the drive shaft and driven shaft.
Alternatively, the joints may comprise a number of coupling members angularly integral with one another; in which case, the hub of one of the coupling members is connected to the drive shaft, and the hub of another of the coupling members is connected to the driven shaft.

Dismantling Joint
The Dismantling Joints are double flanged fittings that accommodate up to 100mm (4”) longitudinal adjustment and can be locked at the required length with the tie bars supplied. Not only does this system allow for fast, easy maintenance of valves, pumps or meters, it simplifies future pipe work modifications and reduces downtime when changes need to be made.
Easy to Install
The installation is also straightforward using just a spanner and torque wrench to tighten the high tensile steel or stainless steel tie bars. With fewer tie bars than flange holes and the tie bars acting as flange jointing bolts theprocess is speeded up but still offers a secure, rigid, fully endload resistant system with a pressure rating equal to that of the flange.

It is a new product that connects pumps, valves and other equipment with pipelines. It connects them into a whole through full bolts, and has a certain displacement. In this way, it can be adjusted according to the installation size on site during installation and maintenance, and the axial thrust can be transferred back to the whole pipeline during work.
